ENA FLEG process

By the early 2004, the FLEG process originally initiated by the European Union had a number of regional branches: FLEG of the countries of South-Eastern Asia, FLEG of African countries and FLEGT of the European Union countries. In May 2004 at the IVth session of UNO Forest Forum Russia has announced its interest in initiating intergovernmental monitoring process for fulfillment of forest regulations, management and timber trading, and proposed an initiative to organize FLEG process in the countries of Northern Eurasia, ENA FLEG.
