Major approaches towards methodological recommendations on Management Plan preparation for Ecological network clusters. In Russian
Existing forms of protected areas , established for preservation of the most well-preserved spots of ecosystems or separate items of biodiversity , still are not capable to stop degradation of ecosystems and landscapes as a whole and to ensure sustainable development of the environment. Shifting for the protection and proper management of a united system of protected areas of different status based on a joint system of sustainable nature resources use and united by a joint legal base, joint ecosystem state and biodiversity monitoring system, demands development of a joint system of management - relevant for all types of protected areas and economically used areas within the Econet cluster. In the frame of WWF Projects funded by MFA Norway “Biodiversity Preservation and Integrated River Basin Development in the Syrdaria River Valley of Kazakhstan” Econet cluster establishment was initiated in Turkestanskii region. Initial Management Plan for the Econet cluster developed, as well as Inter-Sectoral council established for practical implementation of the Management Plan and further development of Econet cluster. The publication presents major approaches for Management Plan development and baseline for its implementation. It can be used as an information materials, as well as the base for replication of the experience of Econet development and management in other regions (Kazakhstan, Central Asia).
