WWF on Kamchatka. – Moscow, 2004, 14 pages
This illustrated booklet presents the WWF’s activities on Kamchatka and prepared as a report for the donors. WWF started its projects in this unique ecological region in 1994. Since then, a number of nature reserves and national parks were created and supported; the brown bear’s population was taken under protection; sustainable ecological tourism has developed. The young friends of WWF from over 30 schools are helping WWF to carry on its projects on the peninsula. Read about these and other projects in the booklet.
